In my major its little seen that students like the subjects related with math, because is closer to the humanistic. But the subject that it enjoyed studying is called statistics for management. In this we learn about a program called R, where we use commands to do things like calculate measures of central tendency like median or average, and after we use it to make studios or conclusions. I enjoy it because you have to many formulas to use, you can do tables with dates and even make graphics from these, I think that it’s a subject very dynamic. Actually, my preference for this subject began in the school, in math, with the more basic data of statistics. This semester in the subject I learned how to draw conclusions from tables, graphics, to bring information to a studio of the population, like a city or an entire country and to make policy publics to improve some things for the citizenry. I don´t know a big number of people who really had made things to citizenship in the politics, that are the field I perform (or I hope to work in the future). That’s because the persons who are in the important positions and in the government only use his job for them own benefit, whether it's economic or about fame. However, I know a person that I like because it’s not like the others, he keeps his word without having to tell every media that exist. I’m talking about Diego Ibáñez, a delegate part of the political party Social Convergence. Diego is 32, studied at Catholic University and represent to district 8, that is composed of communes of the region of Valparaíso and his Instagram account is @ diego_ibanezc . Before becoming in a politic, he was part of groups of students at the Catholic University, and has a close relation with the ecologist movement, being spokesman of the NGO “ Pulmón verde de Quilpué”. The major of Public Administration work in the State, with the politic and administration. It’s really important to the organization of the humans because everything works around that. In my opinion, today people don’t care so much about how the society relate with the State, and its public services. Public Administration try to approach to citizen to the State, for a better operation of the country. That’s why this major its so important, maybe not today, but in the future will have more importance. I can see myself in this process like an important actor, like a leader of a group of people that work to bring better and efficient results. I would work only in my country; I don’t like the idea of travel around the world and don’t do anything for mine. So, I think I have really good ideas to give my country, and I hope to carry them out when I finish my major.
